Ainsworth elementary school, the Ainsworth Parent-Teachers Association and the Southwest Hills Residential League join to give thanks to Janis McDonald and her staff at Safe Routes To School.
The SRTS team has designed and constructed crosswalks, traffic-calming measures and other infrastructure which significantly increased the safety of Ainsworth students, staff, and parents; all in record time. We feel we do not exaggerate when stating that these efforts produced the largest pedestrian safety improvement since concrete sidewalks were installed at the beginning of the last century.
The Ainsworth community and surrounding neighborhoods are grateful.
