The Houselessness Solutions Coalition (HSC) represents 34 diverse neighborhood, nonprofit and business organizations that have joined together to promote positive solutions to our homeless crisis. HSC is sponsoring the Multnomah County Chair Candidate Forum on Solutions to Unsheltered Homelessness on Tuesday, October 20 at First Baptist Church, located at 909 SW 11th Ave, from 4:30-6 pm.
The Multnomah County Chair Candidate Forum on Solutions to Unsheltered Homelessness. The event will feature the 3 candidates for County Chair, along with special guest former Oregon Governor Dr John Kitzhaber, a panel of experts and moderator Blair Best from KGW8 TV. The panel of experts will present their visions for solutions at the state, county and local provider level. Then Blair Best will pose questions to the three candidates on how they propose to lead the county in addressing unsheltered homelessness over the next four years. The goal is to help voters make an informed choice on the most important question for Portlanders on the November ballot.
