The Wildfire Home Protection Strategies course is designed for professionals like landscapers, contractors, insurance agents, and real estate agents who want to help their clients reduce wildfire risk and make safer choices.
Attendees will learn about:
- Local wildfire risk and fire behavior
- Structure hardening
- Defensible space
- Fire-resistant plant selection and placement
The course is led by experts from OSFM, ODF, OSU Extension, and Portland Fire & Rescue.
