Land Use

The SWHRL Land Use Committee meets on the first Tuesday
of the month at Nancy Seton’s house, 2020 SW Edgewood,
from 7 -9 PM. The meetings are open to the public.
There will not be a meeting in January. The next meeting is on Tuesday, February 5th.

Current Land Use issues:
The Land Use Committee, chaired by Nancy Seton, has been actively pursuing many
issues of concern to SWHRL residents. These include
   * a seven lot subdivision on SW Upper Drive
   * a three lot subdivision at 5701 Patton Road
   * a three lot subdivision at 5925 SW Patton Road
   * a proposed expansion at the Shriners Hospital for Children
   * a subdivision near 1260 SW Cardinell Drive
   * a proposed sport court at 2738 SW Patton Court
   * a proposed 279 unit condo development on Sam Jackson Parkway
   * replacement of the radio tower at Council Crest Park.

The Southwest Neighborhoods Inc. (SWNI) neighborhood coalition
Land Use Committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month at
the Multnomah Center, 7688 SW Capitol Hwy, 7 - 9 PM. These meetings are
also open to the public.

The Citywide Land Use Forum
meets on the fourth Monday of the month, from 7-9 PM, at 1900 SW Fourth Ave, Room 2500. These meetings are also open to the public.
